Captain Justin Thompson fished below Red Bluff again today and scored a beautiful chrome King salmon.  Todays bite was a bit on the slow side, but going home with a bright one like todays client did, makes the trip worthwhile for sure!  Stay tuned for more reports as the Sacramento River above Red Bluff opens August 1st!

Shasta Lake has been producing some great fish and we're getting clients on limits of big fat trout when the bite is on.  The trout are really stuffed with Shad now and it would appear that the feeding frenzy has begun.  I'm still catching fish at 60' feet where temps are right at 60 degrees.  I normally fish warmer water this time...
