Flows from Keswick Dam have bumped up and the Sacramento River trout fishing is very good.  We fished for 4 hours today and landed numerous multi pound trout drift fishing beads and eggs.  The bite started out pretty good, but really took off later in the morning.  Catching trout up to 5 lbs on ultra light tackle is pure fun...

Shasta Lake has been fishing in true spring fashion.  The lake has seen surface temps exceeding 62 degrees this week and I expect to see it climb continuously well into summer.  If we see a big cold snap before May, that could delay the climbing temps, but this is the time of the year when we see gradual increases weekly....
