Striper bite is as good as it gets!

The Striped bass fishery on the lower Sacramento River has been solid for weeks now and anglers are taking advantage of a season thats proving to have a larger class of fish than is typical. I'm not talking huge, but its not uncommon to land 7-8 pound Stripers and even get into a few bigger ones during the day. Today was no exception and Chris (picyured) took home some healthy fillets for his family today. We caught several shaker size Stripers today and had 3 limits of chunky line sides by 9:00 am. This is a super fun fishery and with warm weather on the horizon, the time on the water should be very comfortable. If this sounds like a good time, give us a call and we can discuss trip dates and options looking ahead into the 2020 Striped bass season. This fishery will slow down by the end of May so don't wait too long to make that call. Thank you, (530) 510-2925
