The Sacramento River in Redding is in great shape and is producing some great catch and release rainbow trout action for our clients.  Justin fished the Sac again today and as the pics show, his guys had a blast.  Salmon roe cured in Pautzke BorX O Fire makes awesome trout bait and we're also seeing a good bite on artificials....

20'-30' are where the trout are sitting on Shasta rt now.  There are fish showing a bit deeper, but the surface bite is the best bet!  Water temps are starting at about 78 degrees on the surface and have been going over 80 degrees in the afternoon.  Fishing is pretty good now, but the best is yet to come! ...
