Today Mike and Ryan fished the upper stretch from Bonnyveiw bridge to 44 bridge.and put some really nice big rainbows .Drifting spoons did the job with these hard fighting trout .Remember as August 1 the Sundial Bridge stretch opens up to to some epic fishing .Call me at 530-515-5951
Today's fishing trip landed us 9 big rainbows from 17 to 22 inches .We caught most of are fish in the Dry Creek arm around 25 to 65 feet using Yakima Baits triple teazers .Start early the bite shuts off really fast For open dates please call us or follow us on Facebook and Instagram sacriverguide since 1988 .

This friday is the opening day for the Sacramento River for King Salmon .The fish are larger this year on the ocean and during are trout trips we are seeing lots of King Salmon in the river . It's awesome fishing on Shasta lake even though the water is low .Pit arm is putting out 100 fish days !Early morning too water bite is great with the rest of the day on plastic worms.Tripple hook ups throughout the morning and late afternoon bite .Trout fishing is picking up around the dam and digger bay.
