Well if anyone thinks that the kokenee salmon on Whiskeytown lake are gone there completely  wrong.Ive lived here for 30 years in SHASTA county and the fishing on Whiskeytown will be just fine this year .We landed fish all morning and at times we had triple hook ups .A few of are fish today were between  14 and 16 inches...
