If I have been convicted of a felony, can I still apply for a hunting license? - Michael S.
California Outdoors Q&A
Carrie Wilson, APRIL 22, 2010
Yes, but you must first complete a hunter safety course. Once
you have a felony, regardless of the type of crime, you cannot own or
possess a firearm. You can obtain a hunting license but will be
restricted to shooting archery or crossbow, or air rifles or pistols

depredation permit may be issued for tree...

gun on the ground? What is the proper protocol in this type of
situation? Please advise....

Carrie Wilson, NOVEMBER 12, 2009

up "shrimping" but need some information on where to go, when to go
and how to catch shrimp. Is it legal to recreationally catch shrimp? If
so, what are the seasons and bag limits? Is there still a...
