SC Guide Service - 32 years and counting, Lake Siskiyou and McCloud Reservoir are still two of the most beautiful places. Every year at the Sacramento Sportsman Expo I tell people these bodies of water are not only amazing fisheries but also postcard worthy. This past weekend both these places served my clients and I, well.

Lake Siskiyou provided the bigger fish action while trolling plugs from the surface to 55 feet. Birthday girl Amy B caught and released the big brown of weekend this fatty tipped the scale at 7 pounds.

McCloud Reservoir provided shelter from the crazy weather that began to roll in on Saturday. The wind really picked up and was terrible in Mt Shasta. Fortunately, going over the hill to McCloud  provided some relief as well as a 30 plus fish day on small browns and Rainbows while trolling Dodgers with spinner worm trailers.

Crazy spring weather has been all over the place from snow to tee-shirt weather but the lakes are full and fish are biting as long as mother nature doesn't blow to hard.
