Trout fishing on Shasta Lake continues to be steady eddy. These Trout have been gorge themselves on shad all summer. The Browns and Rainbows can be caught anywhere from 60 to 100 feet and ouble digit days have been the norm. The fish have been ranging in size between 2 and 5 pounds.

Fishing will remain the steady as we head into the fall. Fishing deep will also continue until the surface temperatures begin to cool down. Once that occurs fishing techniques will change a bit, but for now spoons and plugs have been my go to methods.
