Its been a few weeks since my last Shasta Lake report but thats because not much has changed.  the fishing continues to be great and we're catching lots of trout and salmon daily.  The trout are definitely bigger this year and the number of salmon available has been a bonus as well.  Weekdays on the water has been quite pleasant with minimal boat traffic considering the time of the year.  Yes, its been hot but its always hot in the summer on Shasta Lake.  We start early and generally have lots of fish to show for our efforts before it gets uncomfortable out there.  August and September always produces some great fishing on Shasta and we have more available dates again this year with a closed salmon season on the Sacramento River.  We're booking Shasta Lake fishing trips now and will be through the new year.  Call Jaynie at (530) 510-2925 for more information and available dates!  Thank you!
