Stripers begin pouring into the Sac!

The Sacramento River is high and off color but theres not enough of either of those conditions to keep the Striped bass from biting. The turbidity is up and the water temps are cool in the 46 degree range but we have some sunny days ahead and that will help kick off the 2024 striper season. We've been bouncing around between the Sacramento and Feather Rivers and there are Striped bass in both systems. Boat pressure has been fairly light on the Sac but the Feather is seeing a bit more boat pressure between the two. That will likely change next week when we start to see better weather and I'm sure a lot of Striper guides will be starting their seasons next week as well. We're all excited about the start of the season and have high expectations once again this year. I'll start reporting weekly once we get started with our client trips and try to keep everyone up to speed throughout April and May. We still have a few days in April remaining on the schedule and have several in May. Call or text Jaynie at (530) 510-2925 for more information and available dates. Thank you!
