The Sacramento and Feather Rivers are on the drop and with water temps slowly on the rise, we should see some pretty good river Striper fishing in the weeks to come. We have some higher daytime temps upon us and that should start a warming trend on the Striper grounds this week which will pull more fish up river and should get these bass biting even better than we've seen this past week. The bite has been good, its just going to get better with more fish and higher water temps. The Feather River has been fishing good from Boyd's Pump down to Verona and the Sac has been fishing well both above and below Colusa. I'm not sure when the Tisdale ramp will be cleared and opened up for launching but it will be a good bet when it does. Most anglers are drifting live minnows, some are sitting on anchor, and others are trolling or casting hardware for their bites. Stay tuned for more reports this week when we'll have a few more days of fishing under us. Thank you!
