Our first full week of Striped bass fishing trips in Colusa is behind us and I'm happy to report the fishing has been really good! We have had two boats running daily and we've come in with full limits for each client group every day thus far. Water temps are still in the low 60's and a cooler week ahead should keep it that way. Many of the male Stripers are getting ripe so their spawning for many of them will begin by late next week, or even in the next few days. Today was the first day we caught any big females since starting last week and thats a sign that we should see Stripers spawning soon. The Stripers in the Colusa area are the first group to come up and we have more on the way. The full moon phase next week should present some challenges as far as the Striper fishing goes but we'll have 3 boats working next week so we should be able to find some groups of biters one way or another. Our season is booked pretty solid but the 21st of April is available and a few days in May as well. Call or text Jaynie at (530) 510-2925 for more information about our Striped bass fishing trips! Thank you....
