The Sacramento River in Redding, Ca. is once again offering some fantastic catch and release fishing this week.  Many of the larger adult trout are feeding heavily in preparation of their spring spawning ritual in the Sacramento River and its tributaries.  We still have salmon in the river and the ripe hens are dropping eggs which happens to be a great source of protein for the wild resident rainbows.  We have been seeing a good bite this past week using both natural cured eggs and 8mm trout beads.  Take a look at some of the pic's from last week sent in by Captain Justin Thompson!  Pretty impressive to say the least.  We are booking trout trips for our open dates which are now booked out until early May.  We'll have available dates through mid July when Captain Justin will leave the trout grounds to guide our clients below Red Bluff for King salmon.  Contact Jaynie for more information about our Sacramento River wild rainbow trout fishing trips at (530) 510-2925.
