The Klamath river and McCloud Reservoir are both fishing good to great this past week.
The fall Salmon run on the upper Klamath began about a week ago. The bite has been best on spinners or maglips. As more fish make there way up the river, the bite should get better. Steelhead are now in the mix as well and we have been picking a few up on the salmon gear. Looks to be another banner fall and winter for them.
McCloud Reservoir is a no brainer. Easy limits of Brown and Rainbow Trout are the norm. Last trip produced near 40 fish for my clients. Trolling dodgers and worms dipped in Pro-Cure shrimp krill oil is the number one method right now.
Give me a call 530 905 0758 I do a have a couple openings left this month and in November. I am booking trip now for late November and December Steelhead on the fly or conventional gear. Checkout my online booking calendar at Caldwellfishing.com or give me a call
