Wanna blow a transmission? Break your trailer? Drop off the end of this baby! LNF totally responsible for the local economy. With phenomenal fishing this season the ONLY low water launch ramp serving Eagle Lake at Gallatin has a severe drop off the end of the cement. Panel is lifted & rocks under it…not going to change. Concessionaire can’t keep enough rocks to ease transition with people driving jet boats (in particular) OFF their trailers. I’m less than 2 ft from the end launching single axel trailer 19ft boat. Double axels …lol have fun. There has been issues already. Lassen National Forest needs a push to get the launching plan moving forward for Emergency ramp or facility cuz we aren’t going to make it whole lot longer. Yes there is a boating and waterways plan…LNF has to authorize. Lake dropping 4+” a month. July ain’t looking good if something isn’t done FAST. Who wants to ruin their $50-$80 boat & $80k truck?? Their kayak only lake may become reality this summer. We need your help. Deb Bumpus LNF REALLY needs to hear from you ASAP! Swamp the email server. On the link.
