The Trinity River saw a bump in flows after yesterdays rainfall and we even saw some color changes in sections of the river.  This new water will surely move some new steelhead up into the Douglas City and Lewiston areas over the next few days.  We have a prolonged lapse in wet weather coming so seeing the rain this week was really great!  Our clients hooked over a dozen steelhead yesterday and we're looking at some great fishing in the weeks ahead.  Lets just hope the rains come back again soon!  We have some openings for Trinity River steelhead this month, but only about 4 days.  We'll be fishing the Trinity well into March, but that will be a last chance for Trinity River steelhead until November.
