Redding is a great palce to catch wild rainbow trout!  The Sacramento River is in water delivery mode and we're seeing flows of 10,500 cfs.  This means lots of water for the wild rainbows to call home for the remainder of the year.  Not that they ever leave, but when flows come up it really puts these fish into locations known to hold good numbers of wild resident trout.  Our resident wild rainbow expert, Captain Justin Thompson has been fishing the Sac in Redding since he was just a small boy.  Now in his 30's, Justin knows exactly where to target these trout all year round, under any conditions.  Justin guides dozens and dozens of trips every year, specifically targeting Reddings wild rainbow trout.  Justin has many different tricks up his sleeve and can get our clients on some good trout fishing on every trip.  Yes, some days are better than others, but you're always going to catch some great trout.  I've learned a lot from Justin and I know everyone who fishes with him does too.  Soon, we'll be starting our King salmon season so if you've been wanting to fish the Sacramento River for wild rainbows, now is the time.  It will still be possible to get a trip together for wild trout, but after July 16th, salmon fishing will take center stage.  The fishing is good and the weather is great!  Call Jaynie @ (530) 510-2925 to book your next Sacramento River trout fishing trip today!  Thank you!
