Quality bites on Shasta Lake!

Brads Killer Fishing Gear Kokanee Cut Plug (KCP) baits are killer on Shasta Lake and beyond! "Shasta Blue" is not currently available through Brad's but its very easy to add some blue to a plain silver KCP.

Today we fished the warming waters of Shasta Lake.  Temps surged near the surface to 70 degrees over the long weekend and that trend will contiue with more heat in the forecast.  Todays group did a great job playing their fish and we really didn't loose too many opportunities to land quality rainbow trout.  We stuck with the 20' range as far as depth and it paid off.  The bite was a bit slower today, but we still landed over ten quality rainbows.  Our top producer today was a Brads Killer Fishing Gear Kokanee Cut Plug (KCP) in silver/blue.  Its a color I came up with knowing Shasta trout and salmon love silver/blue lures.  It dominated the bites compared to the other 5 lines we had down hunting trout today.  I laso stuffed the scent chamber with the Pautzke Bait Co. Fire Gel.  It turned out to be a deadly combination and the results of other boats on the water confirmed it.  Try them out, I think you'll like how they fish.  thank you!
