Shasta Lake has come into its own early this season and we're seeing a really good bite so far this month. We're really excited for the season ahead and we think our clients will be too. Summer is my favorite time to chase big rainbows on Shasta Lake and we're always gifted some really good browns as well. We're seeing some really nice King salmon that are part of a big plant of salmon two years ago. We're already seeing bait in the lower lake so we're not too far from reaching the beginning of the best fishing of the year. Summer means quality and quantity on Shasta Lake. We're the number one booked guide service on Shasta Lake and have been very successful in recent years guiding there. We'll run trips on Shasta until salmon season heats up on the Sac or until we see a slow down in bookings, if that even happens. Consider June through August to be the best time of the year to fish Shasta Lake for big trout and King salmon. Thank you!
