Good Old Klamath

The good old Klamath continues to produce good times. Brad brought his Dad Steve up for his 65th birthday and despite mother nature and her wet ways the good old steady eddy Klamath made it happen.
A couple wet days did not dampen our efforts on the river. Back trolling Maglips as slow as we could produced some quality action yesterday. The days before was a mixed bag as we caught few on a variety of methods. Thursday we had a little stained water due to some heavy over night rain and unusual muddy water coming out of couple feeder creeks but the good old Klamath still produced some fish for us to have fun with.
Friday was better and our plan of going slower then slow was the tactic that produced. Many fish are in spawn mode or coming out of spawn mode and that has produced a lot or short one time strikes. Basically, it is hit em on the time and we did by going slow and putting those 3.5 maglips in there face!
Steve caught his best fish and what better way can you spend your birthday then hanging with your son and catching fish. Enjoy the pictures and Give me a call 530 905 0758 or book online at Caldwellfishing.com
