Local Trinity Lake fishing guide, Captain Alex Ross, has been sampling the bite on Trinity lake recently and has been getting into some really nice trout. He's using several techniques, but has been finding success drifting night crawlers up in the lake arms. The old river and creek channels are a great place to target Trinity Lake trout this time of the year as well. This pattern holds well into spring and some amazing trout can be caught fishing in these areas. If you would like to book a Trinity Lake trout or salmon fishing trip this year, give Jaynie at the office a call and she'll get your party scheduled. Trinity Lake also provides some good salmon fishing in the spring and the smallmouth bass fishing in the summer is some of the best in the west!
