The Sacramento River wil be a good option for steelheaders and trout fisherman alike. During drier years, the Sac flows will be screwed down to 3250 cfs, which makes fishing from a power boat tough. This year we're seeing steady flows of 7,000 cfs and likely more as the lake levels approach the upper elevations. This always helps the steelhead fishing as long as they dont bump flows to un fshable levels. 20,000 plus can really make the fishing good as long as youre not rowing. Power boats are king during high flows and the fishing can be really good. Light crowds and plenty of fish make this fishery a great option this time of the year. let us know if you're itchin to go fishin, because we have a cure! Thank you,,,
