Cold day for Sac Kings.

Tougher bite today for sure, but Captain Justin pulled three nice Kings and Captain Kenny put one in the box for his crew.

Today we had three boats working the Sac in the Corning area fishing for King salmon.  What a difference a day can make in that section of the river!  Woodson should be loaded with fresh Kings this time of the year, but it seems to be hot one day and cold the next.  The salmon are moving through the system quickly and there aren't a lot of fish holding in all the usual holes.  if you're  fishing every day like we are, you're gonna have some great days and some really slow ones.  Yesterday we hit a good number of fish in a few holes with two boats.  Today we came in with four fish total making for a pretty tough bite.  Tomorrow's another day and we'll be back at it chasing pods of Kings if they are there.
