Today we made a trip to the other side of Shasta Dam looking for some big trout.  I've been fishing it for years and if conditions are right, you can be into some big rainbows within minutes of getting lines in the water.  Today wes no exception and we had our fisrst plug inhaled within minutes of setting lines.  We got some big grabs and had some really hard pullers in todays flows from Shasta Dam.  The releases increased and we pushed up into some water we cant normally fish and we had more takedowns Immediately!  What a great day and it was obvious that the light pressure has loosened up the big fish a bit making the bite even better!
