Captain Justin Thompson had a group of four clients today who had originally scheduled a Shasta Lake fishing trip with me.  With all the attention the Sacramento River has seen the past few weeks, todays crew opted for a salmon fishing trip so I fished another group on Shasta Lake instead.  Captain Justin has been fishing the Sac for over 20 years and he knew just where to go to find todays clients some good King salmon action.  Drifting Pautzke Fire cure roe did the trick toady and all four clients got into a nice bright salmon.  Captain Justin only has one day left on the schedule for August and its 8/8.  Better jump on it if your wanting to fish this month with Justin.  Captain Kenny Turner has some dates available, but not many.  Its going to be a great salmon season so shoot me an email or a text and get on the books with us in September and October!
