Shasta Lake is producing some multi pound rainbows and browns rt now and overall its pretty fishy.  Water temps are on the rise and we have triple didgits forecasted for the next several days.  Still waiting on the Shad which will bring the bulk of the lakes fish down to the deeper sections of the lake.  We caught fish at 20'-30' trolling spoons and Bay Rats, which has been a solid pattern.  I'm going to soak  some Shad tonight in Pautzke Fire Brine and get some bait in the water.  Rolled Shad really turns on this time of the year.  Stay tuned, we're gonna see some real brutes come to the net very soon!
