Flows in the Sacramento River from Keswick Dam were increased above 13,000 cfs today.  Justin Thompson and Kenny Turner went out today to catch some rainbows and actually found a pretty good bite.  The trout bite was better in a sense that, all the trout they caught were in great shape.  No spawners today so all the trout were shiny and bright!  Egg patterns were a hit again today and the trout were pretty aggressive with a fresh increase in the flows.  This bump is a big help for the spin fishers, and when the water clears up a bit the fly bite will be on again.  The river is in great shape and we're expecting a great year for trout fishing on the Sacramento River in Redding, Ca.
