Wet weather expected on Shasta next week!

We're going to be seeing a cooling trend and possibly some wet weather this next week on Shasta Lake. With the lake busting at the seams with water, precipitation will be un invited personally, but we'll keep on fishing regardless. Yesterday saw a typical spring pattern bite and what would have turned out to be an average day was plagued by missed fish. It happens sometimes, especially when the trout aren't biting aggressively. Thats sure to change soon and hopefully the weather man is wrong and we continue to see surface temps warming and not cooling off. Trout are biting in the 30'-40' range now, with 40' being the best depth for bites yesterday. We have lots of trips ahead so be sure to stay tuned here for more daily fishing reports!
