Today was day two for Justins client duo and just like yesterday, it was another beautiful day to be on the water fly fishing for wild rainbow trout. More beautiful trout in the net and more memories made on Reddings most popular fishing destination. Very few places in California can offer the kind of fishing we have here in Redding and not a day goes by that I don't think about how lucky we are to be living and guiding in this beautiful place. Theres not too many places left where guides can fish year round and be able, more times than not, to offer our clients something exciting to fish for nearly every day of the year. Whether you like to cast a fly, or drift fish with a spin rod, The lower Sacramento River offers something for everyone. Hard fighting rainbows and steelhead occupy every drift in the Redding area and in recent years, the fishing has really seen an upswing in the numbers of fish landed per trip. Flows are perfect right now and so is the weather. Take advantage of the available dates we have right now and get your spring/summer fishing trip reserved and get ready to have a ton of fun catching Sacramento River wild rainbow trout and steelhead!
