Randy's first Shasta Lake brown trout was a prize by anyones standard. The big brown was caught trolling a Bay Rat long shallow lure soaked in Atlas Mikes UV Gel Trout Scent!

Shasta Lake has been a real pill lately for most anglers, but one day can make all the difference, you just have to get out there and put in your time.  The fishing is going to get more consistent when the water levels stabilize and the water warms up a bit.  We have a few things working against us right now, but that should end any time now.  I fished the past two days with Gary, Alan, Kenny, and Randy.  We fished full days, but as you can see, our time was worth every minute.  Everyone caught some nice fish and it was great to have their friendship and support over the last two days.  Yesterday was pretty tough and I really appreciate clients that can bounce back with positive attitudes after a tough day on the water.
