Today we fished Shasta Lake and had a great day catching quality rainbows. We had our last rod in the water go down while pulling up to head to the launch. It was that kind of a day once again. The day started with an amazing sunrise and barely a puff of wind creating an unusually beautiful morning. The fishing started off with a rod going down within minutes of dropping in and although there were a few lulls in the action, todays clients caught fish all morning making for another exceptional day of fishing on Shasta Lake. The fish are pushing down a little deeper every week. 50'-60' was a good depth when the sun came up and stayed that way until we called it a day. I'm taking a few days off and will be back on the water almost every day until August. I'll be sure to keep everyone posted on the latest and greatest experiences and information I come accross so stay tuned to NCFR for the best and most up to date NorCal fishing info available online.
