Today Stan Kulak and I fished Shasta Lake and found a great bite early on, experiencing double hook ups and non stop action for the first few hours of the morning. We hooked over 20 fish before 10:00 am. We took a break from the action and looked for some trout in some different areas, but didn't see as mant bites as we did earlier this morning. We should continue to see some improved fishing as long as we don't experience any major weather changes. We fished the surface mainly with some small spoons at 2.5 mph to get all of our bites. Shad pattern spoons are getting bit! Tight lines...
